How to Find a list of Emails using Hunter.io ‘s Bulk Domain Search | 2024

(00:00) hi everyone I’m Jeanette from Hunter and today I’m going to be sharing with you how to use our bulk domain search which will allow you to download a list of email addresses using a list of domains or company names so we’re going to Jump Right In we’re here on the dashboard bulk tasks page and we’ll select domain search and then select a new bulk here at the top so the first thing we’re going to do is select a name for this and then we’ll move on to the next few steps and the first one is to enter our list of domains or company names

(00:35) so first we’ll select the kind of input so domain or company name and in this case we typically recommend using domain names this is just because it typically will provide more accurate results however you can use either one in this case I will go with domains next there’s a couple of different ways that you can upload the list so we have a text box where you can directly type in the addresses one at a time or you can select a file in this case I do have some domains ready to go for the text so we’ll do that and then move on

(01:15) to step two which is filters and options so the first option we have is the maximum number of email addresses you like returned per domain so the default is 10 but as you can see we can very easily uh go up or down depending on your needs and then we also have the option to verify the email address directly in this bulk please keep in mind that if you do select to verify emails because it is an additional step it will take a little bit more time to process the file and next we have our filters so we have the email type

(01:53) which we have generic or personal or both and the difference here is really that generic typically will go to a team so let’s say support company.com and then we have personal which will go to a specific person so in this case we’ll go with personal and then we have the option to select only or in priority so only means that Hunter will only return results for personal emails whereas in priority will allow Hunter to provide generic emails in case we can’t find personal emails so to help maximize our results for the

(02:32) domains I’m going to select in priority and then we have our Department’s filters so we have a list of departments that you can see here and you’re able to select multiple so in this case we’ll go with executive marketing let’s try sales and management and then we also have the only or in priority selection here so in this case we’ll go with only and then we’ll move on to the required Fields so if you only want results with phone numbers for example you can select that as a required field and then finally you have the option to

(03:19) include the source and so once you’re satisfied with all the filters and options we’ll select upload and as you can see here out of the six domains we uploaded 24 emails were found and if we scroll down we’re actually going to have a preview of the results so if we scroll over we can see all the different information Hunter returns so here we see some location information and if we continue to scroll we’ll see we also have the department and position information and then finally we have some Twitter handles and Linkedin URLs as well as the

(04:01) phone numbers so please keep in mind that Hunter does only return results that are publicly available online so in cases where you don’t see the LinkedIn URL for example that simply means that Hunter couldn’t find this information publicly available so once you’re ready to download the file you’ll come to download and there’s two options so the first is the full list of email addresses and as you’ll see here it notes that this will cost for search credits now the other option is to download the list of domain names that Hunter could

(04:40) not find email addresses for one other option that you can do instead of downloading a file you can actually import all the email addresses directly into Hunter’s leads page so everything stays within Hunter and again you’ll see that it notes that this will cost for search credits all right so that concludes our brief overview of the bulk domain search in case you have more questions I highly recommend that you check out our help center so it’s right up here at the top if you click on the question mark you can click
