(00:01) hey how’s it going guys so this video is going to be a brief demo proof of concept about how to add AI power data enrichment to your CRM so I got this idea from Dan from Doge AI real smart guy worth a follow um but the gist of it is if you have a discovery call sales Call Etc with a New Prospect you’re Pro you’re going to want to do some research on their company uh what the company is about the type of services they deliver who Their audience is um but you can use AI to help you with that research to save you some time um I’ll link the
(00:36) tweet and my in the video but the gist of it is um you could basic research would just involved going to their website going through their about us page Etc uh and answering those questions yourselves or you can use AI to do it so what I have set up in this video in this demo is I’ve got a make automation where when a new contact is created in HubSpot what it’ll do is it’s going to send a prompt to uh perplexity so this this prompt you can modify it to your specific uh situation what I’ve got it doing is say hey I want you to
(01:13) research this company and I’ll link their website and say give me the following information you know quick summary of the company uh who the company is uh what products or Services they provide and who they sell to um and what this workflow will do is it’ll kick that off so it’s monitoring uh the HubSpot CRM objects to see hey when is a new contact created um and it’ll when uh when that happens um it will run this little process so it’s going to go through it’s going to U get the new contacts it’s going to pass it
(01:47) off to perplexity it’s going to uh pass the information off to this perplexity prompt and it’s going to get this information and it’s going to get information back so basically all that it’s doing is it’s running this information it’s running this prompt uh getting this response and it’s passing it off into uh the HubSpot contact and slack so I’m G to pause this real quick okay cool so you can see now uh so I ran this for Le horoi um so checked acquisition.
(02:22) it’s a company that Partners Founders businesses with 1 to 10 million e to help them grow their companies uh they provide real real world business education solutions to scale businesses effectively it’s got uh the potential customers entrepreneurs Services business strategy Etc pay points data analysis so um yeah you can have it tailored to whatever business you have so it can do that research so if you offer digital marketing if you offer like Facebook ads Consulting um you can tailor to say like hey is this is this a good fit um so it’s just it’s a quick
(02:55) way to to set um to do to have your research done for you obviously with all with with all uh large language models there’s the risk of hallucinations um but it’s a quick way to get summaries especially if you’re busy it can save you uh you know can save you a bit of time on Research so um and what I’ve got going on in this flow is after it’s updated that in HubSpot um it’s Dom at the slack channel so it’s really really simple flow to set up um and if you’re curious how to set up the perplexity get Perle perplexities API
(03:32) access you click the settings down here you click API uh I’m not going to do that because it’s got my API key um and you’ll create a key that way it’s really simple um and make already has a uh an application set up for perplexity so you just got to put your API key in there so simp you you can do all kinds of dat um data enrichment create whatever workflows I’m going to modify this and make it better um I’d like to have this automatically attached to meetings and I’d like to have it sent to my slack Channel like 15 minutes ahead of the
